Late Summer |
|
|
I oftenÊ imagine myself as a dwarf in the forest.Ê Here I am, sitting among the redwoods in late summer, watching leaves fall.Ê Soon, it will be autumn, then winter, and the rain and mist will cover the land and make averything sloppy and dim. Ê But now, it's still summer, and I intend to enjoy it while I can. This picture really illustrates what can happen when you photograph a painting incorrectly.Ê The lamp was too close to the top edge of the painting, and the angle of the lamp was not right.Ê So there's too much light reflecting off the varnish. Ê This will be corrected next time I photograph it. Last updated on Friday, December 21, 2001 |
