1999, the End of a Millenium
Although I am close to computers and the sciences, I do not wish to spend time arguing with anyone whether 2000 or 2001 is the beginning of the next millennium. As far as I am concerned, it doesn't really matter, since people will generally take the socially accepted notion over the technically arguable one. The one thing that I can say about 1999 is that I remember almost nothing at all about it. This isn't because it was particularly boring, though. It's because I had a sleep disorder, but didn't know it yet.
The one other thing that I know is that most of the paintings I did that year were either incomplete drafts, or were not very well done. I may try to revise some of them sometime. Oh yes, in December of 1999, the Little Wonder departed the mortal world. Or was it in 2000? Methinks I'd better quit while I'm ahead.
